Chinese Ringneck Pheasants are a very popular game bird for
hunting and taxidermy. They will mature in approximately 23
weeks and will yield two or more pounds when dressed. Hens
will produce an olive to brown egg.
Check with your local Wildlife Authorities to see if a permit is
required for pheasant or quail.
If you plan to release these birds into the wild you must check
with your local wildlife authorities prior to release.
We suggest a feed ration of 24% protein, and a handful of
Scratch and Greens daily.
