White Laced Red Cornish-Standard Chicken
The Phoenix breed of chicken are known for their very long tails
which can exceed over twenty feet in length.  They are an ancient
breed and were kept in the Imperial Gardens of Japan for their
regal bearing and majestic plumage.  Special care and attention is
necessary for the tail feathers to grow to extraordinary proportions.

We have found, here in Central Texas, the Gold, Silver and BB
Red Phoenix breeds are well adapted to surviving in Free Range
conditions.   Their color patterns provide some camouflage and
their alertness is well suited to evading predators.

The standard weight for a male is 5 pounds and the hen is 3.5
pounds, producing creamy white eggs.  The hens are not broody.

We suggest a feed ration of 20% protein, and a handful of Scratch
and Greens daily.

All photos of birds and chicks are taken of our actual birds.
We do not use stock photos or go to shows to take photos.

Personally any birds we would be interested in purchasing we
would wish to see the parent stock and believe you would also
like to see the parent stock.

We are not professional photographers so our pictures will not
be perfect, but they will reflect a true image.  Please email if
we can be of further assistance.
"We are a small

please bear with
us.  We are trying
to keep up with
demand but we
are restricted in
that good
breeding stock is
hard to find and
slower to develop.
We
refuse to use
inferior breeding
stock simply to
increase our
production."
